What is an AI agent?
An AI agent combines a language model with tools and a loop. The model reads the task and the current state, decides on the next step, calls a tool — a search, an email send, a database query, a phone call — observes the result, and repeats until the task is done or it needs a person. The agent is defined by what it may use and how it is judged, not only by what it says.
An autonomous AI agent is one that runs that loop without a human confirming every step. Autonomy is a dial, not a switch: an agent can research and draft freely while being required to stop before anything is sent, published or spent. Where the dial sits is a design decision, and in Eligoo it is set per role.

AI agent vs chatbot
A chatbot answers within a conversation and has no obligation beyond the reply. An agent is accountable for an outcome and can act in the world to reach it. The practical differences are tools, memory of the task, the ability to run without a person present, and a definition of done. A chatbot is the right tool for questions; an agent is the right tool for work.

In Eligoo that orchestrator is Atlas, the only employee that may delegate; the others do their own part and hand off.
Eligoo connects to the AI provider accounts you already have (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq or OpenRouter). Keys are stored server-side in your workspace and never sent to the browser. You can assign a different model to each agent — a faster, cheaper model for classification, a stronger one for strategy.

Pricing
Eligoo is priced per workspace, not per seat. A plan includes a monthly allowance of credits that an agent consumes as it works — model tokens, call minutes, generated media and published posts each draw from the same balance — and top-up packs add more when you need them. Model calls run on your own AI provider accounts, so those costs stay on your existing bills.
